Call for posters “Technology, Crafting and Artisanal Networks in the Greek and Roman World”, Turin, 6-7th October, 2022

The International meeting “Technology, Crafting and Artisanal Networks in the Greek and Roman World. Interdisciplinary Approaches to the Study of Ceramics” will be held in Turin on the 6 and 7th October 2022.

This international scientific event is part of the A.G.A.T.H.O.C.L.E.S. project supported by a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Global Fellowship (n. 893629) and led by Dr. Marco Serino as Principal Investigator. It is being conducted between Italy (Università degli Studi di Torino, Dipartimento di Studi Storici under the supervision of Prof. Diego Elia) and the United States of America (the University of Arizona, School of Anthropology under the supervision of Prof. Eleni Hasaki)1.

The Organizing Committee is pleased to invite Ph.D. students and scholars in the early stages of their careers to submit abstracts for poster presentations related to a wide range of topics related to ceramic production2. Ten posters will be selected by the Advisory Board. Each participant will receive a contribution of 250€ for travel costs.

Abstracts must be sent in English (400 words) by the 15th of June, 2022
